Custom Fuel tanks are needed for many different uses. We regularly build them for customers with different needs, sizes and shapes. While we are not your go to for a "one size fits all" kind of tank, we are able to deliver when your tank needs something special. A unique shape, fittings in certain places, a built in skid, a heavier wall than mass tank producers can provide, or any other special requirements.
We pressure check our aluminum fuel tanks at minimum of 3 psi, and oftentimes higher than that by customer request. We decided on 3 because that is the requirement in standards set by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC). However, sometimes there are more stringent specs. We are happy to accomodate all customer needs wherever we can.
The process begins with getting a free quote, either by emailing, calling, or filling out our quote form on our Estimate Page. Once we understand what your needs are, we can provide you with a quote. Should you proceed, we move on to the shop drawing and approval stage. We will provide you a CAD shop drawing locating all of the fittings, mounting tabs, and dimensions of the tank itself. At this point, it is up to the customer to carefully review and be certain we are fabricating the tank they indeed want, as we will fabricate per the approved drawing.
Fabrication all takes place inside of our facility in Ventura California. From shearing to press brake forming, CNC Plasma cutting, TIG Welding, pressure checking, Quality Controlling, and finally packaging to send to our customer.
It means a lot to us to send quality custom fuel tanks and tanks of all purposes to our customers. With many years of tank fabrication under our belts, we still constantly look for ways to improve, and make it our goal every day to provide quality tanks, reasonable prices, fast lead times, and finished products that leave our customers happy.
